The BMW E90 refers to the fifth generation of the BMW 3 Series, which was produced from 2005 to 2013. It succeeded the E46 model and was followed by the F30 generation. The E90 was available in various body styles, including sedan (E90), wagon (E91), coupe (E92), and convertible (E93). It introduced several advancements and updates over its predecessor, including redesigned styling, improved performance, and updated technology features. The E90 generation of the BMW 3 Series is highly regarded for its driving dynamics, build quality, and luxurious interior amenities.
We had the pleasure of custom tuning this cracking motor with a few tweaks too.
Most notably with an EGR blank and a stage 2 remap, as lager intercooler was fitted too.
Sufficed to say this was a different car after our work was completed, these are not slow machines in standard tune.
From experience now, any BMW that has idrive, will be bench tuned only. this is down to personal and best practice, to avoid any electrical issues, i.e idrive system crashes.
