A rather nice Range Rover Sport L494 model, 3.0 TDV6 with 288bhp at standard, although rather spritely as standard, there’s bit of room for a bit more, and sharpen up the gearchanges on the ZF 8 speed box too.
As always full health check done first, and no faults found, test drive beforehand was checked also, before we proceeded.
As with JLR models with push button start we prefer to bench tune these.
Gains for this are from 288bhp and 600nm tuned to :
320bhp and 660nm.
This particular engine didn’t have the normal rattle on start up from cold, leading us to believe its already on its 2nd engine, probable genuine too.
This particular remap is already seeing mpg improvements of 10% too, meaning it will pay for itself very soon.
