Tuning Emporium have been kept rather busy with French 1.5 and 1.6 Hdi engined vehicles, with ad blue problems. Most popular at present are the commercial van variants.
One of Tuning Emporium recent jobs was this 1.5 hdi Citroen Dispatch.
The PSA 1.5 BlueHDi is a diesel engine developed by the PSA Group (Peugeot-Citroën, now part of Stellantis). It is known for its efficiency, low emissions, and use in many small to mid-sized Peugeot, Citroën, DS, and Opel/Vauxhall models.

Whilst it still uses a Bosch ECU , the process has slightly changed. Its managed by a Bosch MD1CS003.
Even when you disconnect battery for replacement, you have to leave it for 10 mins, before you re start due to inbuilt immobilizer. This in turn adds time to work on these engines for any mapping procedures.
This Citroen was bought in to us as non start due to ad blue pump fault.

So for these 1.5 Blue HDI engines with this ECU we would allow 4 hours to complete to be on the safe side.
Once we did an ad blue re set and solution, we left vehicle for 30 mins to be on the safe side to make sure all connections we sound before we started.
If you’re experiencing ad blue problems on your vehicle, contact us with your reg number to see how Tuning Emporium can help.
